Marisa Monte North American Tours 2022-2023

Marisa Monte is a 5x Latin Grammy winner Brazilian singer, composer, instrumentalist, and producer. In 2022 and 2023 she embarked on a world tour promoting her new album 'Portas', with three legs in North America, including iconic shows at the LA Philharmonic's house Walt Disney Concert Hall, two sold out nights closing the Montreal Jazz Festival at Theatre Maisonneuve and a show for 5000 fans who braved a storm to watch her at Central Park's SummerStage, in New York City.

I had the privilege of being Production Manager for all three North American legs of this tour, including the first leg in March of 2022 when venues and local authorities were navigating the final stages of a world pandemic. From this experience I learned the value of being flexible and willing to adapt to new situations in order to make our shows happen, each and every night.
